Our Diamonds

Our production capabilities range from rounds to fancies, as well as specials. Additionally, we have a wide selection of proprietary light performance cuts and are always happy to create and develop new designs based on client requirements.

What are Lab Grown Diamonds?

Lab grown diamonds are physically, optically and chemically identical to natural mined diamonds. The only difference between the two is when and where they were created.

Natural diamonds were created hundred of millions of years ago far below the Earths surface. They require large scale mechanical extraction to remove them from deep within the Earth. By contrast lab grown diamonds are created above the earth in specialist growing facilities, taking only a matter of weeks.

Our state of the art factory uses the very latest technology at each stage of the diamond journey.

This ensure that not only is the finished diamond beautiful but that it has allowed us to utilise the highest quality standards possible.

Our production process are 100% in house, allowing our customers to trust in a manufacturing journey that is traceable and secure. Each rough diamond is tracked and documented through every stage until it reaches it’s final destination.

Our group is a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), the global membership and standards body for responsible jewellery across the whole supply chain.

We comply with the De Beers Best Practice Principles Assurance program, a set of rigorous ethical, social and environmental requirements, alongside leading international human rights frameworks and labour regulations.

We are accredited by the SMETA social auditing standard which ensure we meet the highest working conditions in the areas of labour, health and safety, environment and business ethics.

Impact

We believe in sustainable production practices and investing in sustainability. Lab-grown diamonds are an important first step on the road to lowering our environmental impact however we are committed to doing more. In 2021 we became ISO 14064-1 certified and offset all of our direct emissions to achieve a carbon neutral footprint. The next stage in our Green House Gas Protocol journey is the reduction of our indirect emissions in line with the Paris Agreement.

How are they grown?

All lab grown diamonds begin life as a seed. A tiny base diamond from which they will grow. Currently there are two growth methods: high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) and chemical vapour deposition (CVD). Both methods work by providing the correct conditions around the seed diamond to allow new carbon bonds to form in the tetrahedral structure that grows the diamond crystal lattice.

CVD diamonds are created using a microwave plasma growing method utilizing a vacuum chamber and a hydrocarbon gas mixture to grow a high quality, high performance stone layer by layer. The process uses less energy over less time, working at moderate temperatures and low pressure.
